European Smaller Companies
If you sort the table by ‘One year cumulative value’ and order by ‘Best Performing’ you can glance along the row to see performance over various periods. What we are looking for is consistency of performance.
This isn’t a sector for which there is great demand, but performance has been very good in recent times despite the continued uncertainty over EU sovereign debt. On another occasion we might add a bit more detail on the opportunities and whether good value remains. For now the Threadneedle fund continues to top the table over one year. But on a less positive note the Henderson fund has disspointed recently and its position in the 1 year rankings reflects this.
